Defending champs CMCC are the longest established team in the league, and will be hungry for another title after winning their first just before the pandemic struck in 2020. Their team will be built around talented allrounders Ismail and Insha, along with six-hitting machine Abaid, who can turn a match in minutes.

CPP
CPP School from Doi Saket makes a welcome return to the league this season after winning the inaugural title in 2012/13. CPP is supported by the Cricket Association of Thailand as a Centre of Excellence with youngsters from around the country coming to the school to develop their cricket as well as their education.

Lamphun
Based in Lamphun, just to the south of Chiang Mai, this young Thai team has produced several international cricketers such as Chanchai and Bunchuai and are well coached by Chris Dodd. Known for their top class fielding, they will need to work hard this season to make up for the loss of some senior players in the past year.

Lanna CC
After picking up back to back titles in 2014 and 2015, the Lanna CC side was eclipsed by the more youthful Lanna Thais XI who won the next two league competitions. The team will look to attacking opener Luke Stokes and strike bowler Elliot Lodge to set the standard, and have a mix of young Thai players and experienced hands to back them up.

University CC
UCC is a new force in Chiang Mai cricket under the adept leadership of Ali Imran. The club has a unique blend of talent with all members teaching or studying at postgraduate level alongside their cricket. The lineup includes energetic pacers Cheema and Naeemullah, with quality batters such as Zeeshan and Shiva. UCC aims to make a lasting impact on the development of cricket in Chiang Mai and is eagerly anticipating its first league campaign.
