Bangladesh won the last place in the ICC Women's World T20 which will be held in West Indies in November as they held off the spirited challenge of Scotland to win the second semi-final by 49 runs. Scotland remained competitive for much of the contest as Bangladesh lost wickets regularly and their total was boosted by 29 runs coming from the last three overs. A target of 126 was not an impossible one, particularly as Scotland reached the fifty mark with only one wicket down but five wickets fell for five runs in the space of 12 balls and Bangladesh had booked their trip to the Caribbean. Scotland's keeper-opener Sarah Bryce had quite a day with two catches, two stumpings and 31 runs but it is Bangladesh who will face Ireland in Saturday's final.
