Bangladesh gained a second impressive victory in two days as they beat Netherlands by seven wickets after bowling out the hosts for just 42. Netherlands had made a steady start to their innings with Sterre Kalis and Denise Hannema looking comfortable but the last eight wickets fell for just ten runs to change the course of the match. Rumana Ahmed and Fahima Khatun took six wickets for five runs between them but Cher von Slobbe at least could be pleased with figures of 2 for 4 as Bangladesh lost three wickets before claiming victory with 12.1 overs to spare. The defending champions are looking well placed in Group A as they look to retain their title.
