India have put the setback of losing in the Women's Asia Cup for the first time behind them and they are still on course for being crowned queens of Asia for the seventh time as they recorded their fourth win in five matches by beating Pakistan by seven wickets to reach the final once again. Pakistan were on the back foot from the start as they lost early wickets after choosing to bat first but it was left-arm spinner Ekhta Bist who claimed the best figures with 3 for 14 as Pakistan were restricted to a modest 72 for 7. Mithali Raj and Deepti Sharma both fell for ducks but India have strength in depth and opener Smriti Mandhana and captain Harmanpreet Kaur shared a partnership of 65 for the third wicket. Smriti was out for 38 but Harmanpreet finished on 34* as India won with almost four overs to spare.
