ACC WOMEN'S ASIA CUP T20 - DAY 2

India and Sri Lanka are the two unbeaten sides in the Women's Asia Cup in Malaysia as they both made it two wins out of two but it was Bangladesh who made the headlines as they beat Pakistan for the first time in women's T20 Internationals. It is an important result as Pakistan have had the advantage of regular cricket in the ICC Women's Championship but Bangladesh showed the benefits of their recent tour to South Africa. Pakistan were restricted to 95 for 5 and Bangladesh won by 7 wickets. India beat Thailand by 66 runs after scoring 132 for 4 and Sri Lanka beat Malaysia by 90 runs after making 136 for 3. Thailand have lost both their matches but will have three more opportunities for success.
